This interesting double stone arch bridge crosses Oak Creek at the back of a neighborhood in Hiawatha.
Built in 1895, it appears that flooding has caused the bridge structural issues. As a result, the bridge has been supplemented by congregated culvert arches underneath.
Other than this, the bridge remains in good condition. Some spalling has begun on the stones.
Oak Creek must flood often, as a double arch normally wouldn't be necessary at a location like this.
The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the smaller size of the arch.
The photo above is an overview. The bridge can be easily accessed from a nearby walking trail.
